April 15, 2019
In early April, Anjane Bell and Vince Ferguson became first-time parents when son Jaxon Arnold Ferguson made his arrival. This couple, very much in love, look forward to seeing their bond grow even deeper as they experience each of Jaxon’s milestones together as a team.
Now studying to be an accountant, Vince Ferguson’s life has changed since his days as a star football player. However, he cherishes his new role as dad to little Jaxon and partner to Anjane even more. Both partners decided to remember the special time in their lives of Anjane’s pregnancy by having maternity photos taken by James Hill Photography. The couple learned of our photography studio through images that we share on Instagram.
Preparing for Maternity Photos
Anjane knew she wanted her hair to look just right for this special session. She chose to have her hair styled by Mariama Diallo, owner of Top Braids salon, located in Mableton, Georgia. Mariama is also pregnant and due at the end of April. We’re excited to see her in the studio later this month for her own maternity photo session. Anjane’s dark, long, and flowing hair presents a very flattering image in her maternity photos.
The mother-to-be chose several clothing changes for her session with us. She was excited to try our new blue, yellow, and purple maternity gowns from Sew Trendy, an online seller of designer maternity gowns based in Utah. Since we keep many maternity gowns in different sizes onsite, Anjane loved shopping in our closet. All four gowns were long, beautiful, and kept the focus on her baby bump.
Three Dozen Maternity Gowns Available for You to Borrow
We have recently added several maternity gown choices to our collection, bringing more choice for the moms we photograph. No matter which color or style you desire, we feel confident that you will find the perfect maternity gown for your photo session. Anjane was hesitant to try the yellow maternity gown because she thought it was too similar to her skin tone. However, Vince really liked the color and convinced her to try it. Both of them are glad that she did.
Delivering a Baby in the Coming Months?
If you’d like to have the same experience yourself, we encourage you to schedule your session four to eight weeks before your baby’s due date. At this point, your bump is large enough to show that you are obviously pregnant but not so large that moving and changing poses and outfits is uncomfortable for you. It’s also a good idea to book early so that we can make sure to have your session on the calendar before it’s too late!
We recognize that the first several days at home with your newborn are also an extremely special time in the life of your family. We’d be happy to schedule both your maternity and newborn sessions at the same time. Please contact us to learn more. We look forward to learning more about you and your impending arrival!
