Atlanta Studio Newborn Session
A wonderful way to welcome a new baby is by celebrating with a studio newborn session. Baby Donovan was wonderful during his time in the studio. He was peaceful and perfect! He even gave me a beautiful smile! His parents ordered that beautiful smile in a 16×24 Framed Wall Portrait to hang in his nursery. I can’t wait to see pictures, because it’s so precious!
Surgery at just a few weeks old
Baby Donovan started out life with a few challenges. He had a heart murmur and had surgery just a few weeks after these portraits were taken. Donovan recovered wonderfully and is doing great! We are so grateful for God’s hand in his speedy recovery.

Baby boy in blue. Love that we can see every detail of his hands. Most newborns have tight fists. Its so exciting to see him relaxed.
Love this fold-over pose. It is one of my favorite poses. However you can only do this pose with young babies because while they still have the flexibility from being in the womb. He was very flexible.
Beautiful portrait with dad and his newborn. I love the lighting James chose here. Perfectly lit baby and a little mood lighting for daddy. Stunning portrait of these boys!
Details with the macro lens. Incredible how tiny his toes are compared to dad’s fingers. Such a sweet portrait!

Such a stunning family portrait! I am so happy when my clients choose to have a family portrait photographed. Its such a precious memory to see how small they were in our arms. After all they will never be this small again.
