The Real Black Santa at James Hill Photography

This is the first time we have had “The Real Black Santa at James Hill Photography“.  I must say, he was amazing!  He and James joked, laughed and had a great time.  James kept saying, “he even laughs like Santa”.  He was amazing to all who entered and had so much fun with the kids.  And yes, that beautiful white beard is real.  The Real Black Santa was a treat in our studio and we can’t wait to have him back in our studio again next year.

Its been several years since we have photographed Santa Portraits, but having him in the studio is a first.  I’m so happy we made the decision to have Santa sessions.  I advertised a little late this year but will begin open spots earlier in the year so everyone can come and enjoy this jolly man.   Start looking early in the fall for openings.

This is the first time we have had a Christmas tree in the studio.  It was so wonderful to photograph all our families and babies with this beautiful tree during the months of November and December.   The tree was decorated with ornaments from Macy’s, Home Goods, Kirkland’s, and The Home Store.   The pillows, couch and blanket are by Pier 1 Imports.  Madison and I had so much fun decorating the tree.  I really enjoyed teaching her about levels and planes while teaching her to decorate.

Baby Blu had ago jump in for a few portraits as well. The was taken 3 seconds before he stretched his legs out and knocked her in the floor.
