Atlanta Home Newborn Session

James and I photograph most of our newborns in our studio together with our controlled light boxes.  However, every now and then a mom isn’t ready to venture out of the house, so we head out to meet them.  Erika’s home was so beautiful, and a perfect photographer’s dream for photographing a newborn.  Light pouring in all directions as well as big beautiful windows to play off of.  James sure had a lot fun with these windows!  I also had fun with her name on her sheets.  Eila, what a beautiful name and those sheets were just so adorable!  All was perfect for an Atlanta home newborn session

The one thing to keep in mind if you are interested in an in home Newborn session, is that portraits will not be the same in contrast to portraits in the studio.  We cannot do our reflection  or hanging portraits, because we are a little more limited to what you have in your surroundings.  Lighting is also very important.  In our studio, we use studio lighting. For in home sessions we do carry a few lights with us, however we mostly depend on your natural light.

Eila, what a beautiful name!  This portrait was printed as a Gallery Wrap and is now hanging in her nursery.!
