Sweet Newborn Smiles make my heart melt in our Atlanta Portrait Studio.  We are still photographing a few newborns here in our studio this week.  Grateful for the little smells and smiles this week while our nation is facing difficult times.  I’m grateful that we are still able to gift these sweet parents memories of their babies.  These moments can only be captured in the first few weeks.

If you are stressed about bringing your newborn out during the Coronavirus, I understand.  The next best time to photograph your baby is at 4 months.  Four months old is a great time for incredible neck strength and big, beautiful smiles.  To view examples of 4 month old Portrait Session, visit our Children’s Gallery.

Four Month Old sessions are best scheduled early in the morning.  We want to make sure your little one has had a good nights rest.  We also want to capture them between nap times.  These sessions are best for babies who have great neck strength.  If your newborn was early, then this may be a little after 4 months.  We can chat to decide when is the best time.

Depending on how your child is feeling, we will capture many different looks using 3-4 backgrounds.  I have some clothing, but always ask my clients to bring additional clothes.  Bringing props is also a good idea.  This could be favorite animals or toys from the nursery.

When is the best time to photograph Newborn babies? Between 5-12 days.

What is the best time of the day for a Newborn Session?  We photograph 2 Newborns a day, 9am & noon.
